A survey conducted by 99acres.com, India’s biggest real estate portal and YouGov, an international internet-based market research firm.
Delhi along with Patna, Kanpur and Meerut emerged as one of the most unsafe city in the country. Chandigarh, Vadodara and Shimla emerged as the safest cities in the country.
Delhi appears in the top five rankings in Education, Health and Career prospects and Mumbai features in the top five from list for the quality of Education, Recreation and Career prospects.

Interestingly, Shimla has been rated among the top three cities in human and civil rights and safety parameters. Meerut, Varanasi, Agra and Patna have been consistently rated with a low score across all parameters. *(Please refer to the attached report for other details).
When we asked respondents about their opinion on which city in India has the most attractive citizens then 24% of them said Mumbai, 15% said Bangalore and 14% said Delhi. On the contrary, 11% respondents have said that Patna has the least attractive citizens.
