Upsurge in Floating rate home loans

Floating home loan rates is now become more attractive for home buyers, as the all major housing finance companies have abolished the prepayment charges on floating home loan rates, according to the bank officials floating rates will really float after the implementation of the scheme.
Similarly, from last 23 November month ICICI bank has written off the prepayment penalties on floating home loan for both the old and new customers. This is applicable for partial or full prepayment of housing finance. The private bank was the last of big lenders in home laon to continue to implementation a penalty on borrowers who chose to close their loan account even if it was from their own resources. Now any floating rate loan can be repaid without penalty.
As per the reports of Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) there is already upsurge in prepayment in housing finance. The rating agency has completed an analysis of home loan portfolios that have been securitized and subsequently rated by ICRA. The median monthly pre-payment rate has been around 1.1%.

Eating Fruit',BE CAREFUL

Eating Fruit on an empty stomach
Dr Stephen Mak  treats terminal ill cancer patients by "un-orthodox" way and many patients recovered. He explains: before he is using solar energy to clear the illnesses of his patients.  He believes on natural healing in the body against illnesses. See the article below.

Letter to original email writer:

Dear Shereen,
Thanks for the email on fruits and juices. It is one of the strategies to heal cancer. As of late, my success rate in curing cancer is about 80%. Cancer patients shouldn't die. The cure for cancer is already found. It is whether you believe it or not. I am sorry for the hundreds of cancer patients who die under the conventional treatments.

Thanks and God bless.
Dr Stephen Mak

EATING FRUIT...

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying hair
baldingnervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI:
Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE:
An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY:
Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE :
Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON:
Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA:
Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer!
Can u believe this?? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!) Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

Property tax defaulters got sigh of relief till March 31

Delhi/NCR

The property tax defaulters can breathe easy as MCD has taken a decision to extend the amnesty scheme till the 31st March 2012. According to the amnesty scheme property tax defaulters can clear their outstanding amount without paying any penalty or interest charges both under the old and new systems of evaluation. The reason behind extending scheme is that so far very few people have come forward, particularly under the unit area method, to clear their outstanding amounts.
The Civic body has announced the scheme twice in the same financial year but yet only 700 applications has been received for settlement.

New home loan launched by HSBC

After ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and HDFC, HSBC, too, has come up with a dual-rate housing loan product. It allows borrowers to choose an initial fixed rate period of between one and five years, and after that migrate to a market-linked, floating rate system.

The scheme offers two options – one where the customer is not allowed to make any pre-payments during the fixed-rate period and the other where he/she can do so, as per certain terms.

The fixed rates in option 1 range from 11.25% per annum (if the initial fixed-rate period is one, two or three years) and 11.50% (fixed-rate period of five years). For the flexibility of pre-payment offered in option 2, the bank will charge 25 basis points higher than in the first option as interest.

But, if you choose the five-year fixed-rate option with flexibility to pre-pay, the structure will be a little complex. Prepayment of over 25% of the outstanding amount will attract charges of 5% in the first year, 4% in the second, 3% in the third, 2% in the fourth and finally 1% in the fifth year. Upon expiry of the fixed rate period, the interest rate will be linked to the bank’s rate prevalent then. So, for the balance tenure, the loan will carry an interest rate of base rate plus 2%.

Central Bank waived-off prepayment penalties on housing loan

One of the India’s biggest money lenders Central Bank of India has followed the foot steps of State Bank of India and ICICI Bank by ending up prepayment charges on floating rate home loans on higher priority basis. “Contrary to Reserve Bank of India’s proposals, the Central bank has decided to abolish prepayment charges on floating rate home loans”, bank’s senior officials said.

After waiving of prepayment charges there will be no penalties on housing loans of the bank for both new as well as existing borrowers, the Central Bank of India Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. M.V. Tanksale, said.
In Mumbai, this waiver scheme on foreclosures has already implemented by the state owned money lender where the borrowers were making payments from their own sources.
Similarly, in the previous month SBI and ICICI Bank has decided to deter prepayment penalties. However, Housing finance companies has already been barred from charging foreclosure charges. On the other hand in October month National Housing Bank (NHB) directed all the housing finance companies to desist from imposing a pre-payment penalty on home loan borrowers.

Check Out Five red Hot Invetment Themes

According to Google India CEO Rajan Anandan, these five segments are bound to get a lot of traction.

As the chief executive of Google India, Rajan Anandan is one of the topmost thought leaders in the technology field in the country. But as one of the most active angel investors in India, he also has the pulse of start-up activity. Addressing a packed gathering of around 250-plus entrepreneurs, angel investors and early-stage VCs at the recently concluded 2nd edition of VCCircle’s India Angel Summit, Anandan talked about five red hot investment themes.

We bring to you these five themes and take a close look to understand what makes them tick.

Investment Themes

Web-enabled consumer & SMB services: With the rapid spread of the Internet in India, the number of Web-enabled consumers and SMB services has increased manifold and hence, the investment opportunity. Examples of such businesses are Gurgaon-based etechies.in, a managed services start-up that caters to both individual customers and SMBs, and Akosha.com, a website that focuses on resolving Indian consumers’ complaints and increasing customer awareness. Such companies are simply thriving nowadays. Akosha.com is filled with testimonials from satisfied customers while etechies.com bagged 2,500 clients within just six month.

SaaS: Software as a Service has always been a popular genre among investors and still remains a red hot area. Also, according to the research firm Gartner, SaaS sales reached the $10 billion mark in 2010 and might go up to $12.1 billion in 2011, an increase of 20.7 per cent from the previous year. Additionally, the revenues from SaaS might cross the $21.3 billion mark by 2015. Examples of SaaS providers are Webklipper, Recruiterbox and Innovize.

Local specialists: An example of local specialists can be mycity4kids, a one-stop destination for search, recommendation and purchase of kids-related services. The site enables users to locate offerings for kids (like kids’ events, family outings, discounts, etc. and provides comprehensive listings of products and services exclusively for children. However, you only get the listings for Delhi-NCR, hence the local specialist tag.

Content targeted at women: As of now, there is a dearth of websites for women in India. In fact, the East features a lot of websites (like ivillage.com and Bettyconfidential.com ) and personalised blogs (like Birds on the Blog) that cater to the needs of teenage girls, homemakers and business women alike. However, in India, the potential of investment into such ventures is huge. Incidentally, Sitagita.com  is an Indian site that providing women-centric content.

Enabling technologies addressing consumer needs: The demand for such specialised services has been increasing among customers. Jigsee, for instance, is a very good example. It is a free video application that works on most of the popular phones and allows users to find and stream popular music videos, movie clips, television shows, health and fitness routines, cartoons and educational videos, among others.

These are the five red hot sectors and any angel, planning to make investments, should check them out. And the fact that Rajan endorses them is testament enough of the investment opportunities they present.
