Ghaziabad Second fastest city across the globe in urbanization

The list of hundred fastest growing cities across the globe has been mostly dominated by the Indian cities in the form of urbanization, jumping across the list from the top 10 to 22 others figuring prominently in a crop of boomtowns usually reserved for those in China.
The second rank has been saved by Ghaziabad in the list whereas fourth and eighth numbers occupied by Surat and Faridabad respectively a list revealed by the city mayor, a global think-tank that studies urban affairs to promote good governance.
The mayors data for fastest growing cities across the globe is based on the predictions made by the international and national statistics organizations.
The reports further said that several cities whose populations are increasing day by day are in China and casts the spotlight on a surprising list of urban areas spanning the Middle East to Mali.
India. Nashik, Patna, Rajkot and Jaipur figure in the top 25 of the list of cities that will be most densely populated by 2020. However Delhi registered 28th, Bangalore 67th rank whereas Mumbai and Kolkata fails to find any place in the list.
